• For General or Unreserved : Rs. 1150/-
• For Gen-EWS or OBC-NCL : Rs. 600/-
• For Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Person with Disability (PwD)/ Third Gender : Rs. 325/-
• Use a Net Banking debit card, credit card, or UPI to pay the fee via the payment  gateways that are linked into the online application.

Age Limitation

• For Junior Research Fellowship : 30 years or less as of the first day of the month in which the exam is finished, which is January 1, 2025.
• For Assistant Professor : When applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor, there is no maximum age limit.
• According to the guidelines, age relaxation will applies.

Eligibilities and Qualifications 

• Candidates must hold a master’s degree or an equivalent credential from an institution or university approved by the UGC.
